Crisp & Sweet! Super Easy Tanghulu Recipe at Home
Make Trendy Tanghulu Like an ASMR Video, Effortlessly at Home
Tanghulu, popular in ASMR videos lately! During the holidays, I decided to make this special treat to beat boredom. It’s incredibly simple with just two ingredients, making it accessible for anyone, even if you’re new to cooking. The satisfying crunch and the sweet-tart burst of fruit will fill your mouth with joy. It’s perfect for special occasions or as a delightful snack for kids. ^^~~♡
Essential Ingredients
- 18 fresh strawberries
- Oligosaccharide or store-bought strawberry syrup, as needed (for coating)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the fresh strawberries thoroughly and pat them completely dry. Any remaining moisture will prevent the syrup from coating properly. Skewer three strawberries onto each chopstick, ensuring they are firmly attached so the chopsticks don’t wobble.
Step 2
Place the skewered strawberries over your oligosaccharide or strawberry syrup. Using a spoon, generously and evenly drizzle the syrup over the surface of the strawberries. The key to perfect Tanghulu is a smooth, consistent coating without any clumps. Take care to ensure it coats them beautifully.
Step 3
Once coated, arrange the Tanghulu skewers neatly on a plate lined with baking paper or parchment paper. Now, let them harden in a cool, well-ventilated area until they are firm to the touch. Allowing them to set at room temperature, rather than in the refrigerator, is the secret to achieving a crisp exterior while keeping the fruit juicy inside. Let them harden for about 30 minutes to an hour for delicious Tanghulu!
