Crisp Cabbage and Tender Chicken Breast Salad
Filling and Delicious! A Recipe for Using Cabbage with Chicken Breast
Hello everyone! Lately, I’ve been really enjoying cooking with fresh vegetables. Today, I’ve prepared a wonderful cabbage dish that you can enjoy with chicken breast. It’s a dish that’s both satisfying and versatile. I recommend trying it out and making it your own! ^^
Salad Ingredients- 6 leaves of fresh cabbage
- 7 leaves of crisp green lettuce
- 1 handful of frozen green beans
- 250g of chicken breast
Dressing- 5 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp honey mustard
- 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of black pepper
- 5 Tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp honey mustard
- 1/3 tsp salt
- A pinch of black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, thoroughly wash all the salad ingredients under running water. If using frozen green beans, make sure to rinse them well after thawing.
Step 2
For the green beans, we’ll lightly cook them in the microwave for convenience. Place the thawed green beans in a microwave-safe dish and microwave for about 2 minutes. They might release some water during cooking, so be sure to drain any excess water before using them.
Step 3
Thinly slice the green lettuce and cabbage to maintain their fresh, crisp texture. Cut the green beans into bite-sized pieces, about 3cm long.
Step 4
In a large bowl, combine all the prepared vegetables and the chicken breast. For the chicken breast, shred it into easy-to-eat pieces using a fork or your hands; this helps the dressing coat better. Now, add 5 tablespoons of creamy mayonnaise to the bowl.
Step 5
Finally, add 1/3 teaspoon of salt for a touch of savory flavor and a pinch of black pepper. Then, mix in 2 tablespoons of honey mustard. Toss everything together gently until well combined. You can adjust the amount of salt to your taste. Your delicious cabbage and chicken breast salad is now complete! Enjoy this fresh and filling meal.
