  • 200g Fresh Cabbage
  • 1 Crisp Apple

  • 2 Tbsp Grated Apple (adds natural sweetness and flavor)

  • 2 Tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp Sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Sesame Seeds (for a nutty aroma)

Cooking Instructions

Thoroughly wash and prepare the cabbage. Finely shred 200g of cabbage into thin strips. Soak the shredded cabbage in cold water for about 5 minutes to enhance its crispness. Rinse under running water a couple of times, then drain completely. Ensuring the cabbage is well-drained is crucial, as excess water can dilute the dressing.

Wash and core half (1/2) of the apple, then thinly slice it into strips, similar in thickness to the shredded cabbage. Set aside the other half of the apple, as it will be used for the dressing.

Now, let’s make the delicious dressing! In a clean bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of grated apple, 1/2 tablespoon of minced garlic, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of ground sesame seeds. Whisk or stir with a spoon until all ingredients are well combined and there are no lumps. Taste and adjust the sugar or vinegar if needed, according to your preference.
