This recipe is my own creation using ingredients readily available at home! It’s packed with healthy goodness and provides a satisfying fullness, making it perfect for those on a diet. Ingredients

  • 10 roasted almonds
  • 150g firm or regular tofu
  • 200ml cold milk
  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame seeds
  • 1 pinch of salt (to taste)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, gather all your ingredients for this simple yet delightful recipe. You’ll need 10 roasted almonds, 150g of tofu (firm or regular works well), 200ml of cold milk, 1 tablespoon of toasted sesame seeds, and just a tiny pinch of salt to adjust the flavor at the end. Lightly patting the tofu with a paper towel to remove excess moisture can help achieve a smoother consistency.

Step 2

In your blender, add all the ingredients EXCEPT for the salt: the roasted almonds, tofu, cold milk, and toasted sesame seeds. Depending on the power of your blender, the almonds might need a little extra help to become completely smooth. Instead of blending for one long period, it’s best to pulse the blender in short bursts, repeating several times. You can also stop the blender occasionally to scrape down the sides with a spatula, ensuring everything is incorporated for a perfectly creamy result.

Step 3

Once blended to a smooth consistency, pour the almond “Kongguksu” base into a tumbler or bottle. While it’s delicious as is, you can add that final touch by stirring in a pinch of salt to enhance the savory notes. Mix well before serving. This creamy almond base is not only delicious but also satisfyingly filling, making it a great option for a light meal or snack. If you notice any small almond pieces, simply chew them thoroughly as you enjoy the drink. This recipe makes it incredibly easy to create a healthy and fulfilling summer delicacy right in your own kitchen!
