Cool Coffee Dessert Made with Instant Coffee Mix

This is a refreshing dessert made with instant coffee mix. 🙂 It’s a taste that comes to mind even when it’s cold outside, hehehe. Instead of a specific brand, try making it with the instant coffee mix you have at home. It’s fun to peel and eat one by one.

Ingredients

  • 2 packets of instant coffee mix
  • 150ml hot water
  • Empty instant coffee mix packets

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, carefully open and pour 2 packets of instant coffee mix into a cup. The fragrant coffee aroma already builds anticipation!

Step 1

Step 2

Next, add 150ml of hot water. A key tip is to use slightly less water than you normally would when making coffee. This ensures a richer, more delicious texture when frozen.

Step 2

Step 3

Stir well until the instant coffee mix and water are completely dissolved. Once the coffee is fully mixed, let it cool down slightly so it’s not too hot. Letting it cool will make it safer and easier to handle in the next steps.

Step 3

Step 4

Now it’s time to transfer the coffee into the empty instant coffee packets. To make pouring easier, gently fold the top edge of the empty packet (the part that looks like a paper cup rim) inwards, creating a pointed funnel shape. This will help prevent spills and ensure a neat transfer.

Step 4

Step 5

Carefully pour the cooled coffee into the prepared empty instant coffee packets. It’s best to fill them only about 80% full, rather than to the brim. This prevents the coffee from overflowing or spilling when it freezes and expands.

Step 5

Step 6

Place the filled coffee packets upright in a paper cup or a small bowl. This will help them maintain their shape while freezing in the freezer, resulting in a neat final product. Now, place them in the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours until solid.

Step 6

Step 7

Finally, your instant coffee ice dessert is ready! Take the frozen coffee out of the packet and enjoy it by sliding it out. You’ll experience a taste and texture remarkably similar to popular commercial coffee ice bars. Enjoy this special dessert, easily made at home!
