Main Ingredients

  • 100g Cabbage
  • 1/6 Onion
  • A little Bell Pepper
  • A little Thyme
  • 4 Shrimp
  • 2 slices Salmon
  • 1 strip Bacon
  • 1 Sausage

Dressing Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp Sugar
  • 2 pinches Salt
  • 3 pinches Black Pepper
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon Juice

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash the cabbage thoroughly under running water, drain well, and then thinly slice it into shreds. Slicing thinly ensures a crispy yet tender texture.

Step 1

Step 2

Finely mince 1/6 of an onion. Soak the minced onion in cold water for about 5 minutes to remove its pungent flavor. Afterwards, drain it completely in a sieve to ensure a clean taste.

Step 2

Step 3

In a large bowl, combine the thinly sliced cabbage and the drained minced onion. Add 2 Tbsp mayonnaise, 1 Tbsp sugar, 2 pinches of salt, 3 pinches of black pepper, and 1 Tbsp lemon juice. Mix everything well until evenly coated. You can adjust the amount of pepper to your preference.

Step 3

Step 4

Now it’s time to prepare the crackers. Arrange the round crackers on a plate to resemble a Christmas tree, using 4 crackers for the base, then 3, then 2, and finally 1 at the very top. Create a visually appealing tree shape.

Step 4

Step 5

Boil the shrimp in water until fully cooked. Once cooked, immediately rinse them under cold water to cool down, then peel off the shells cleanly. Plump shrimp will make the finger food even more appealing.

Step 5

Step 6

Spoon the prepared cabbage salad generously onto each cracker. Then, top with your desired ingredients such as shrimp, salmon, bacon, or sausage, according to your taste. Finally, garnish with thinly sliced bell pepper and fresh green leaves (like dill or parsley) to complete your exquisite Christmas tree finger food crackers! Enjoy your delicious creation.
