  • 400g Bacon (using thicker cut bacon will result in a more delicious texture)
  • 300g Enoki Mushrooms (trim the base and separate into individual strands)
  • 120g King Oyster Mushrooms (slice lengthwise)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, carefully separate the bacon slices one by one. Using slightly thicker bacon will provide a better mouthfeel than very thin slices.

Step 2

Trim the base of the enoki mushrooms and gently separate them into individual strands. Clean the king oyster mushrooms and slice them lengthwise to match the width of the bacon. Feel free to adjust the types or amounts of mushrooms according to your preference.

Step 3

Now, lay one slice of bacon flat. Place a portion of the separated enoki mushrooms and the sliced king oyster mushrooms onto the bacon. It’s important to manage the amount of mushrooms so they don’t make rolling difficult.

Step 4

Starting from one end, tightly roll the bacon with the mushrooms inside, ensuring the mushrooms don’t slip out. Continue rolling until you reach the other end to create a neat roll. You can use toothpicks to secure them if needed.

Step 5

Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add a very small amount of cooking oil. To ensure an even and thin coating, dip a paper towel into the oil and gently wipe the pan’s surface. Place the rolled bacon mushrooms seam-side down in the pan. Cook, turning occasionally, until all sides are golden brown and crispy. This will result in bacon mushroom rolls that are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside!
