  • 1/2 Green Onion

Seasoning

  • 0.5 Tbsp Oyster Sauce

  • 0.5 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Oligosaccharide (or Corn Syrup)
  • 1 Tbsp Perilla Oil
  • A pinch of Toasted Sesame Seeds

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Prepare all the ingredients to make a delicious stir-fried kosiraegi.

Step 1

Step 2

Kosiraegi is a type of seaweed that is long and thin, resembling noodles. It is low in protein and fat but rich in dietary fiber, calcium, and iron. It helps boost metabolism, promotes bowel movements, and is effective for preventing constipation. Its low calorie count makes it ideal for dieting. Additionally, its potassium content helps cleanse blood vessels, and calcium contributes to bone health.

Step 2

Step 3

Rinse the preserved kosiraegi thoroughly under running water several times to remove the saltiness. Soak it in water for about 10 to 20 minutes to completely get rid of the salty taste. Drain it well using a colander and cut it into bite-sized pieces with scissors.

Step 3

Step 4

Slice the onion and carrot thinly into julienne strips. Finely chop the green onion.

Step 4

Step 5

Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a little cooking oil. Sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Then, add the onion, carrot, and the prepared kosiraegi in that order and stir-fry them together.

Step 5

Step 6

Add the oyster sauce, fish sauce, and oligosaccharide in the specified amounts and stir-fry with the ingredients. Taste and adjust the seasoning according to your preference for an even more delicious dish.

Step 6

Step 7

Finally, add the chopped green onion and stir-fry for a little longer.

Step 7

Step 8

Turn off the heat, then drizzle in the perilla oil and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Give it a gentle mix, and your delicious stir-fried kosiraegi is ready!
