If using pre-blanched Mozaban from the store, rinse it gently under cold running water 3-4 times to remove any impurities. After rinsing, drain the Mozaban thoroughly in a colander. Ensuring most of the water is removed is crucial; this prevents the salad from becoming watery and ensures a better flavor.

Once drained, cut the Mozaban into bite-sized pieces. Avoid cutting it too finely; slicing it roughly with a knife will help preserve its pleasant chewy texture.

The prepared Mozaban should amount to about 3 handfuls. Transfer the prepared Mozaban to a large mixing bowl. Using a spacious bowl will make it easier to mix the ingredients with the seasoning later, preventing spills or difficulty in tossing.

Add 1 handful of shredded radish to the Mozaban. The radish will add an extra layer of crunchiness to complement the Mozaban. Make sure the radish is thinly julienned so it blends well with the seaweed for a harmonious texture.

Add 2 Tbsp of gochugaru (Korean chili flakes) for a mild spice, 3 Tbsp of clear anchovy sauce for savory depth, 1 Tbsp of minced garlic for a pungent kick, 1 Tbsp of plum extract for a touch of sweetness and tang, 1 Tbsp of sesame oil for nutty aroma, and finally, 1 Tbsp of ground sesame seeds to enhance the nutty flavor. Add all of them to the bowl.
