  • Category : Noodles & Dumplings
  • Ingredient Category : Processed foods
  • Occasion : Everyday
  • Cooking : Boil / Simmer
  • Servings : 1 serving
  • Difficulty : Anyone

Ingredients

  • 1 pack Chapagetti noodles
  • 1 pack Neoguri ramen (spicy flavor)
  • 1 egg
  • 150g beef (sirloin recommended)
  • 550mL water
  • 1/3 stalk green onion
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

1. Place 550mL of water in a pot and bring it to a boil over medium heat. While the water is heating up, you can prepare the other ingredients to save time.

Step 1

Step 2

2. Preheat a frying pan over high heat for 3 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil and carefully fry the egg to your desired doneness, aiming for a runny yolk. Set the fried egg aside on a separate plate.

Step 2

Step 3

3. Preheat a grill pan over high heat for 3 minutes. Lightly sear the 150g of sirloin steak for about 40 seconds per side to maintain its tenderness. Season very lightly with 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/3 teaspoon of black pepper. Since Chapaguri itself is seasoned, it’s best to keep the meat seasoning minimal. Feel free to adjust to your preference.

Step 3

Step 4

4. Once the water is boiling, add both the Chapagetti and Neoguri noodle blocks, along with their respective soup powders. Boil for approximately 3 minutes. Then, carefully drain the water, leaving about 6 tablespoons (approximately 90mL) behind. Reduce the heat to low, add the remaining soup powder, and stir well to combine with the noodles. Finally, stir in the special olive oil sachet from the Chapagetti for an extra layer of flavor.

Step 4

Step 5

5. Transfer the cooked Chapaguri to a serving bowl. Top with the prepared sunny-side-up egg, seared sirloin steak, finely chopped green onions, and sesame seeds. This completes your special “Parasite”-inspired Chapaguri! The seasoning of the Chapaguri can be quite bold, but mixing in the runny egg yolk and enjoying it with the beef creates a wonderfully balanced flavor. If you prefer a milder taste, consider using only about half of the Neoguri soup powder. Enjoy this unique and delicious ramen!
