  • Ingredient Category : Seafood
  • Occasion : Late-night snack
  • Cooking : Grilled / Roasted
  • Servings : 1 serving
  • Cooking Time : Within 30 minutes
  • Difficulty : Anyone

Ingredients

  • 10 frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 10g butter
  • A drizzle of olive oil
  • Pinch of black pepper
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide (or honey)
  • Parsley flakes, for garnish

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, place the frozen shrimp in a bowl of cold water to thaw for about 10 minutes. Gently pat them dry with paper towels once thawed to ensure a good sear and prevent excess moisture during cooking.

Step 1

Step 2

In a small bowl, combine 1 Tbsp minced garlic, 10g of softened butter, 1 Tbsp of oligosaccharide (or honey for a similar sweetness), and a sprinkle of parsley flakes. Mix well with a fork or spoon until you have a smooth, fragrant butter-garlic sauce. This sauce is the star of the dish!

Step 2

Step 3

To the thawed and dried shrimp, add a drizzle of olive oil, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Toss everything together gently with your hands, ensuring each shrimp is lightly coated. Let them marinate for about 10 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Step 3

Step 4

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Once warm, carefully add the marinated shrimp in a single layer. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until they start to turn pink and slightly opaque. Avoid overcrowding the pan; cook in batches if necessary.

Step 4

Step 5

When the shrimp are about halfway cooked, pour the prepared butter-garlic sauce over them. Toss continuously to coat the shrimp evenly as the sauce thickens slightly. Continue to cook for another 1-2 minutes, or until the shrimp are fully cooked and coated in the glossy, flavorful sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy!
