Burrata Cheese and Fresh Vegetable Salad
A Light and Healthy Diet Meal: How to Make Burrata Cheese Vegetable Salad
For a light and healthy diet meal, I’ve prepared a simple vegetable salad with Burrata cheese. The biggest advantage of salad is how easy and quick it is to prepare! You can combine fresh vegetables and fruits for a light meal. I’ve sliced them thinly and in smaller portions to keep it light, and added Burrata cheese to supplement the vegetables’ lack of protein and add a nutty flavor. The dressing is made with balsamic glaze and olive oil, but you can also use Oriental or yogurt dressing according to your preference. Burrata cheese is so fluffy and white, it makes me feel happy just looking at it. The outside is fresh mozzarella, and the inside is filled with soft cream cheese that flows out like a runny egg yolk when you cut into it. It’s a cheese that captures visuals, taste, and fun. This simple vegetable salad, with just a few types of vegetables, is elevated to a gourmet dish with the addition of Burrata cheese.^^
Ingredients- 1/3 cucumber
- 1/5 carrot
- 6-7 cherry tomatoes
- 7-8 marinated cherry tomatoes (optional)
- 7-8 basil leaves
- 1 burrata cheese
- 1 tbsp balsamic glaze
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Wash and prepare the cucumber, carrot, cherry tomatoes, and basil leaves. Gently pat them dry with a paper towel.
Step 2
Slice the cucumber thinly or cut it into bite-sized pieces. Thinly slice the carrot to a similar thickness. Halve the cherry tomatoes. Arrange the prepared vegetables attractively on a plate. Ensure the vegetables are sliced thinly for a tender texture.
Step 3
Carefully remove the burrata cheese from its packaging. Place it in a sieve to drain any excess whey (the clear liquid that separates from the cheese). Prepare to place it gently in the center of the plate.
Step 4
Drizzle the balsamic glaze and olive oil attractively over the arranged vegetables. Adjust the amount of dressing to your liking. Finally, artfully garnish the salad with fresh basil leaves to add aroma and color.
Step 5
Now for the best part! Gently cut into the center of the burrata cheese with a knife. The creamy interior will ooze out beautifully. Enjoy this luscious cream cheese and fresh mozzarella alongside the vegetables dressed with balsamic glaze and olive oil, savoring the rich creaminess and refreshing flavors that fill your mouth. Enjoy your delicious meal!
