Fresh and Delicious Banana Tomato Milk Juice: An Easy Recipe
I often enjoy making fresh fruit juices. Adding milk to fresh fruits when blending makes it quite filling and a great meal replacement option. Today, I made a banana tomato milk or tomato banana juice using the leftover bananas and tomatoes at home.
Ingredients- 3 ripe tomatoes
- 1 ripe banana
- 300ml milk
- 1 Tbsp honey (adjust to taste)
- Ice cubes as needed
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the 3 ripe tomatoes thoroughly under running water. Remove the stems and then cut them into 4 large pieces to make blending easier.
Step 2
Peel the ripe banana and then cut it into bite-sized pieces, about 2-3 cm long, for easy blending. Cutting them too small might prevent the blender blades from working effectively.
Step 3
Place the cut tomatoes and banana into your blender. Add 1 tablespoon of honey for a touch of sweetness. You can substitute honey with other sweeteners like corn syrup if you prefer.
Step 4
Pour 300ml of cold milk into the blender. You can adjust the amount of milk to achieve your desired consistency. Use less milk for a richer flavor or more milk for a smoother, thinner juice.
Step 5
Secure the lid on the blender and blend until the mixture is completely smooth. It’s important to blend thoroughly to avoid any chunks, especially tomato skins or seeds, which can be unpleasant to chew. Blend for about 30 seconds to 1 minute until you achieve a smooth, uniform consistency.
Step 6
Pour the blended juice into a chilled glass. Add ice cubes as needed for an extra refreshing drink. Be mindful not to add too much ice, as it can dilute the flavor.
