Ingredients

  • 1 tsp mugwort powder
  • 200ml milk
  • 30ml heavy cream

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

With these simple ingredients, you’ll create a wonderfully healthy and delicious beverage! It’s like sipping the essence of a spring garden.

Step 1

Step 2

First, combine 30ml of heavy cream with 1 tsp of mugwort powder in a bowl. Initially, it might seem like the cream and mugwort aren’t mixing well, appearing somewhat separated. But don’t worry! Just stir gently a few more times, and you’ll see it transform into a beautiful khaki color and become smoothly creamy. It’s almost magical!

Step 2

Step 3

Next, prepare your favorite glass or mug. Fill it generously with ice cubes. Having plenty of ice will make your latte extra refreshing and cool.

Step 3

Step 4

Carefully pour 200ml of cold milk into the ice-filled glass. Then, gently spoon the prepared mugwort cream mixture on top of the milk. This layering technique prevents the cream from mixing immediately, allowing it to float prettily on the surface, creating an appealing visual.

Step 4

Step 5

Now, let’s add a delightful milk foam topping to elevate your mugwort latte! If you prefer a lighter, airier texture, using cold milk will create a good froth. For a richer, creamier, and sweeter foam, consider whipping the heavy cream separately. Since I already incorporated the creamy mugwort mixture, I opted for a light and cheerful milk foam this time.

Step 5

Step 6

Finally, lightly dust a little extra mugwort powder over the milk foam. This adds a beautiful finishing touch, resembling a gentle snowfall, and further enhances the fragrant aroma and flavor of the mugwort. Your completed mugwort latte is now a visually stunning and incredibly healthy drink to enjoy!
