Main Ingredients- Fresh water dropwort (minari) 150g
- Green onions 2-3 stalks
- Red chili pepper 1/2 piece
Seasoning Ingredients- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp plum extract
- 1/2 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp anchovy sauce (for umami)
- 1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 1/2 Tbsp perilla oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- A pinch of black pepper
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp plum extract
- 1/2 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp anchovy sauce (for umami)
- 1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
- 1/2 Tbsp perilla oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- A pinch of black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Rinse the water dropwort (minari) thoroughly under running water. Soaking it in water with a little vinegar for about 10 minutes will help keep it extra fresh. Once drained, cut it into bite-sized pieces, about 5cm in length.
Step 2
Cut the red chili pepper in half, remove the seeds, and slice it into thin strips. Cut the green onions into lengths similar to the minari.
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine the minced garlic, soy sauce, plum extract, vinegar, anchovy sauce, gochugaru, and pepper to make the dressing. Add the chopped green onions and red chili pepper to the dressing and mix lightly to allow the flavors to meld.
Step 4
Add the prepared minari to the bowl with the dressing. Stir in the perilla oil and sesame seeds. Gently toss the ingredients, being careful not to mash the minari, until everything is evenly coated with the dressing.
Step 5
Transfer the beautifully tossed minari fresh salad to a serving dish. Enjoy your fresh and aromatic minari salad immediately!
