  • Fresh Spring Aegol Nomi (Wild Chives) 400g
  • Minced Garlic 1 Tbsp
  • Sesame Oil 3 Tbsp
  • Flavor Enhancing Salt (Dashida or similar) 1/2 Tbsp
  • Regular Salt to taste
  • Sesame Seeds (toasted) 2 Tbsp

First, carefully trim the fresh spring aegol nomi, washing it thoroughly under running water to remove any soil or debris. Pay special attention to cleaning the roots, as this is where dirt often accumulates.

After trimming, rinse the aegol nomi gently once more in cold water. Then, add it to a pot of generously boiling water and blanch it. The key is to cook it just enough to preserve its delightful fragrance.
