  • 2 shots of strong espresso (approx. 60ml)
  • 15g (or 2 Tbsp) of sweet hazelnut syrup
  • 150ml of warm milk
  • A generous amount of milk foam
  • A pinch of cinnamon powder

First, let’s prepare the base for our creamy Hazelnut Cappuccino by frothing the milk. Pour 270ml of cold milk into a milk frother or a steam pitcher. (If using an electric frother like Aeroccino, be careful not to exceed the maximum fill line.)

Activate your milk frother or Aeroccino on the ‘warm’ setting. Let it run for about 1-2 minutes until the milk becomes warm and develops a rich, creamy foam. Once you have sufficient foam, stop the device.

Prepare your serving mug and pour 2 shots of freshly brewed espresso (about 60ml) into the bottom. This forms the robust and slightly bitter foundation of your cappuccino.

Next, add 15g of sweet hazelnut syrup (or about 2 tablespoons) over the espresso. The sweet, nutty aroma will beautifully complement the coffee. You can gently stir it in or leave it to meld as you pour the milk.

Carefully pour 150ml of the warm milk into the mug containing the espresso and syrup. Pour steadily to allow the ingredients to naturally blend together.
