Before baking, it’s crucial to bring the eggs to room temperature. This prevents them from cracking during the cooking process due to rapid temperature changes. Place the eggs on the counter for at least 20 minutes to allow them to warm up. Once at room temperature, gently wash the exterior of the eggs under running water. For extra sanitation, you can soak them briefly in a light vinegar solution for about 5 minutes. This step ensures your eggs are clean and safe to enjoy.

Step 3

Prepare your air fryer basket by lining it with parchment paper. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of coarse salt evenly over the parchment paper. The coarse salt helps absorb moisture from the eggs and imparts a subtle smoky flavor. Carefully place the washed and sanitized eggs on top of the salt. Now, place the basket in the air fryer and set the temperature to 130°C (266°F) for 20 minutes.
