Rich Seafood Fried Rice Recipe
This seafood fried rice is made with a heart full of gratitude for the health and safety of my children, just like any parent’s. It’s packed with fresh squid, shrimp, and tender fish fillet, offering a rich flavor and satisfying texture. Main Ingredients- 2 bowls of warm cooked rice
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 1.5 Tbsp minced garlic
- 1-2 eggs
- 1/2 squid
- 5 shrimp
- 1/2 fillet of white fish
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 Tbsp finely chopped scallions
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, lightly season the unseasoned white fish fillet with salt and pepper and let it marinate briefly. Peel and devein the shrimp, and clean the squid by removing the ink sac and cartilage.
Step 2
Cut the marinated fish fillet into bite-sized cubes. Roughly chop the shrimp and squid as well; this will help them distribute evenly in the fried rice and enhance the overall flavor.
Step 3
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the minced garlic and stir-fry until it’s golden and fragrant, like deep-frying. Once the garlic is lightly browned, push it to one side of the pan.
Step 4
While the garlic is becoming crispy, crack the eggs into the empty space in the pan and scramble them. Once the eggs are cooked, mix them with the fried garlic.
Step 5
Prepare another pan, or clean the first one. Add a little cooking oil and place the cubed fish into the pan. Carefully sear the fish on both sides until golden brown, ensuring it doesn’t break apart.

When the fish is almost cooked, add the chopped squid and shrimp to the pan. Stir-fry over high heat for a short time. Seafood cooks quickly, so avoid overcooking to maintain a tender texture.

Combine the scrambled eggs and fried garlic with the stir-fried seafood.

Now, add the 2 bowls of warm cooked rice. Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon of salt evenly over the rice. Use a spatula to break up any clumps of rice and stir-fry everything together until well combined.

Finally, add 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce for added umami and stir-fry once more to ensure all ingredients are thoroughly mixed.
