But, when you add the soft, flaky texture of imitation crab meat (like ‘Crabstick’ or ‘Karemi’), it transforms into a wonderfully rich and flavorful Crab Egg Sandwich. It’s so easy to make, you can whip it up in no time! It’s also a fantastic snack option.

Hearty Ingredients

  • 10 fresh eggs

Once the water is boiling, add a pinch of salt and boil for 15 minutes. After boiling, immediately rinse the eggs under cold water to cool them down, then peel off the shells carefully. Now, let’s make the creamy egg salad. Put on a pair of disposable gloves and place the boiled eggs in a bowl. Mash the eggs with your hands. Mashing them thoroughly until smooth will give you a much softer texture.

The onion will add a nice crunch to your sandwich. Finely mince half of the onion. If the pieces are too large, they might be noticeable when you bite, so aim for the smallest dice possible.

Regarding the imitation crab meat, any brand will work. While I’m using ‘Karemi’ for this recipe, feel free to use your favorite imitation crab sticks. The type of imitation crab won’t drastically alter the final taste.
