Super Easy Oreo Cookies & Cream Ice Cream
Homemade Oreo Ice Cream Recipe
Whip up a delightful Oreo ice cream using ingredients you likely already have! This ice cream is surprisingly sweet and creamy, perfect as a snack for kids or a delightful dessert for adults. You can make it with just 3 simple ingredients!
Ice Cream Ingredients- 1 packet of Oreo cookies (about 10-12 cookies)
- 3 tablespoons cold milk (optional, can be substituted with water)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s prepare the star ingredient: the Oreo cookies. Place the Oreo cookies in a zip-top bag or a plastic bag. Use a rolling pin or the bottom of a cup to crush the cookies into a fine powder. Leaving a few small chunks will add a pleasant texture.
Step 2
Before crushing the cookies, or after, prepare your ice cream mold. I used a cup with the top cut off so an ice cream stick could fit. Neatly place the crushed Oreo powder into the cup.
Step 3
Now it’s time to add the milk for creaminess. Pour 3 tablespoons of cold milk evenly over the crushed Oreo mixture. If you don’t have milk, you can substitute it with 3 tablespoons of cold water. Lightly stir the milk or water into the cookie crumbs until just combined.
Step 4
Once the ice cream mixture is ready, insert an ice cream stick to hold it in place. After flattening the mixture in the cup, carefully insert the ice cream stick into the center. Make sure the stick is upright and doesn’t lean to one side.
Step 5
Now, head to the freezer! Freeze for about 1 hour. It’s best to take it out when it’s slightly firm, not completely frozen solid, and then cut it into easy-to-eat portions. If it’s frozen too hard, let it thaw slightly before cutting. Cutting it into your desired shapes will make it look even more appealing.
Step 6
Voila! You’ve made the easiest Oreo ice cream ever. Enjoy the cool, sweet taste and the delightful texture of the Oreo cookie pieces! Give this recipe a try.
