  • 8 pinches of salt

Begin by preparing the bread. Take your two slices of baguette and lightly toast them in a lightly oiled pan over medium-low heat until they are golden brown and slightly crisp. This toasting step enhances the sandwich’s texture and flavor.

Next, prepare the chicken breast. Slice the smoked chicken breast into approximately 0.5 cm thick pieces. Aim for even slices so they cook uniformly and are easy to bite into.

Lightly pan-fry the sliced smoked chicken breast. While already cooked, a quick sear in a warm pan will bring out its savory notes and ensure it’s served warm. Cook over medium heat for about 1-2 minutes per side, just until heated through and slightly golden.

Now, prepare the bread spread and fruit. Spread 1 tablespoon of honey mustard sauce evenly on the inside of each toasted baguette slice. This adds a delightful sweet and tangy base. Peel the golden kiwi and slice it thinly, about 0.3 cm thick.
