Essential Ingredients- Spaghetti (approx. 80-100g per serving)
- Water (enough to cover the pasta)
- Store-bought tomato spaghetti sauce (adjust to taste)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Take a deep microwave-safe bowl. If your spaghetti is long, break it in half to fit comfortably in the bowl. Breaking it into two pieces will help ensure it cooks more evenly in the microwave.
Step 2
Pour enough water into the bowl to completely submerge the spaghetti. Gently loosen the pasta strands so they don’t stick together. Microwave for 6 to 8 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked to your desired tenderness. (Adjust cooking time based on your microwave’s wattage.)
Step 3
Carefully remove the hot bowl from the microwave. Gently drain away the hot cooking water, ensuring no pasta is lost. Be cautious to avoid scalding yourself. Make sure to remove as much water as possible.
Step 4
Spoon your desired amount of store-bought tomato spaghetti sauce over the drained pasta. Stir well to coat the pasta evenly with the sauce. Your basic pasta is now ready!
Step 5
