Main Ingredients- 2 chicken breast sausages
- 3 eggs
- 100g broccoli
- 80g chives (or green onions)
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 1/4 onion
- 50ml milk
- 4 olives
- 200g shredded cheese
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, slice the chicken breast sausages into bite-sized rounds. The shape doesn’t matter, so feel free to cut them as you like.
Step 2
Cut the aromatic chives into approximately 5cm lengths. Their fresh fragrance will enhance the frittata’s flavor.
Step 3
Chop the vibrant green broccoli into bite-sized florets. Briefly blanching them in boiling water beforehand will make them softer and preserve nutrients.
Step 4
Thinly slice the onion into strips about 0.5cm thick. Sliced onions blend well with other ingredients and cook faster.
Step 5
Halve the bright red cherry tomatoes after removing their stems. They will add a burst of sweetness and freshness.
Step 6
For garnish, slice the olives into rounds after removing the pits. Their slight saltiness helps balance the richness of the frittata.
Step 7
Now, let’s prepare the egg mixture. Crack 3 eggs into a large bowl, add 50ml of milk, and whisk them together gently. You can add a grind of black pepper for extra flavor, if desired.
Step 8
Lightly grease a pan with olive oil over medium heat. Sauté the prepared vegetables (excluding olives and tomatoes) until they just begin to soften. Avoid overcooking to maintain their crisp texture.
Step 9
Arrange the sautéed vegetables in an oven-safe dish. Pour the egg mixture over them. Decorate with the sliced olives and cherry tomatoes, then sprinkle generously with shredded cheese. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 20-30 minutes, or until golden brown and set. To check for doneness, insert a skewer or toothpick – it should come out clean when inserted into the center.
Step 10
Your warm and delicious frittata is ready! Let it cool slightly before serving and enjoy.
