Omelet Bread Ingredients

  • 1 bag Pancake Mix (approx. 200-300g)
  • 110ml Milk
  • 1 Egg
  • 250ml Heavy Cream
  • 20g Sugar (for whipped cream)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Pour 1 bag of pancake mix into a large bowl. Then, add 110ml of milk and 1 egg. Whisk together using a whisk or electric mixer until you have a smooth batter with no lumps. The batter consistency should not be too thin or too thick; aim for a consistency slightly thicker than regular pancake batter.

Step 1

Step 2

Heat a non-stick pan over low heat. Lightly grease the pan with cooking oil using a paper towel. This prevents the bread from sticking and ensures even cooking. Using high heat can easily burn the batter, so make sure to maintain low heat throughout.

Step 2

Step 3

Using a ladle, pour the batter onto the pan to create your desired bread size. When small bubbles start to appear on the surface of the batter, it’s time to flip. Carefully flip the bread with a spatula and cook the other side until golden brown and appetizing. Ensure both sides are evenly browned.

Step 3

Step 4

Transfer the cooked breads to a plate and let them cool slightly. If you pipe the cream while the bread is too hot, the cream might melt. Allow them to cool until they are warm to the touch.

Step 4

Step 5

In a separate bowl, combine 250ml of cold heavy cream and 20g of sugar. Whip using an electric mixer (or a whisk) until you achieve stiff peaks. The cream should be thick enough to hold its shape, resembling soft-serve ice cream.

Step 5

Step 6

Transfer the whipped cream into a piping bag. If you don’t have a piping bag, you can use a zip-top bag by cutting off one corner. Using a piping bag allows for neat and attractive filling of the omelet bread.

Step 6

Step 7

Cut the slightly cooled breads in half or prepare them as desired. Use the piping bag to generously fill the center of the omelet bread with whipped cream. For extra flavor and visual appeal, you can top with fruits, chocolate chips, nuts, or any other toppings you enjoy to complete your delicious and beautiful omelet bread.
