Gut Health Revitalizing Microbe Juice
A Postbiotic Microbe Juice Recipe to Revitalize Gut Microorganisms
Hello everyone! Power comes from good food. Today, we’ll be making a ‘Microbe Juice’ that revitalizes your gut by using postbiotics. I saw this on a broadcast and decided to try it myself. It’s simple, effective, and I’m excited to share this recipe with you all. Let’s boost your gut health and overall vitality with this wonderful drink!
Ingredients- 1/2 ripe pear
- 1/2 crisp apple
- 1 sheet dried kelp (approx. 10x10cm)
- 1 cup lukewarm water (200ml)
- 1 sachet postbiotics (approx. 4g, for 2 servings)
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the fresh fruits that will form the base of your juice: half a ripe pear and half a crisp apple. These will provide sweetness and essential nutrients.
Step 2
Since we’ll be using the fruit skins, thorough washing is crucial. Using a calcium powder wash is highly recommended for effectively removing pesticide residues. If you don’t have calcium powder, you can soak the fruits in water with a splash of vinegar for a few minutes, then rinse them thoroughly under running water. Don’t miss out on the nutrients in the skins!
Step 3
To ensure a smooth blend, chop the washed pear and apple into manageable pieces, about 2-3 cm in size. Remember to remove the core and seeds.
Step 4
Now, let’s prepare the special ingredient that supports gut health: kelp. Soak one sheet of dried kelp in 1 cup (200ml) of lukewarm water for about 20 minutes. The slimy component on the kelp’s surface is called ‘mucilage,’ which can help protect and repair the gut lining. If kelp isn’t available, you can substitute it with mashed yam.
Step 5
Prepare your key ingredient: the postbiotics. One sachet, typically around 4g, is the recommended daily dosage and is perfect for this recipe (making 2 servings).
Step 6
In your blender, add the chopped apple and pear, the kelp-infused water, and finally, the sachet of postbiotics. Ensure all ingredients are in the blender.
Step 7
It’s time to blend everything until smooth! Process for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, or until the juice reaches a consistently smooth texture without any chunks. You might notice small reddish specks from the apple skins; this is perfectly normal. Pour the finished Microbe Juice into glasses and enjoy immediately. It’s especially beneficial to drink on an empty stomach in the morning or as a light meal replacement.
