Easy Six-Section Garlic Bread Recipe Using an Air Fryer

Decadent Six-Section Garlic Bread

This is the most popular bread at bakeries these days – the glorious six-section garlic bread! I decided to make it myself. While I used homemade milk bread, you can also purchase milk bread from a bakery for convenience. Let’s make a simple cream garlic bread that can be baked in an air fryer. This recipe is perfect for both beginners and seasoned bakers looking for a quick yet delicious treat.

Recipe Info

  • Category : Bread
  • Ingredient Category : Processed foods
  • Occasion : Snack
  • Cooking : Grilled / Roasted
  • Servings : More than 6 servings
  • Cooking Time : Within 30 minutes
  • Difficulty : Beginner

Ingredients

  • 9 Milk Bread Rolls (approx. 55g each)
  • 100g Cream Cheese
  • 1 Tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 25g Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1.5 Tbsp Minced Garlic
  • 1 Tbsp Honey (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Dried Parsley Flakes

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

☆Making Milk Bread (Optional): For this recipe, I made slightly larger milk bread rolls, about 55g each, totaling 9 rolls. (You can absolutely use store-bought milk bread!)

Step 1

Step 2

Baking Milk Bread in an Oven: If using an oven, bake the milk bread at 170°C (338°F) for about 15 minutes. Milk bread bakes relatively quickly, so keep an eye on it to prevent burning. If you don’t have an oven, an air fryer is a great alternative. When using an air fryer, set the temperature slightly lower than the oven temperature for best results.

Step 2

Step 3

☆Making Six-Section Garlic Bread: Now, let’s move on to creating the delicious garlic bread. Prepare all the ingredients needed to accompany the milk bread.

Step 3

Step 4

Creamy Cream Cheese Filling: In a bowl, combine 100g of cream cheese with 1 Tbsp of sweetened condensed milk. Mix well with a whisk or spatula until smooth and creamy. This will be your luscious filling for the bread.

Step 4

Step 5

Golden Ratio Garlic Sauce: Melt 25g of butter by microwaving it for about 20-30 seconds, or let it soften at room temperature beforehand. To the melted butter, add 1.5 Tbsp of minced garlic, 2 Tbsp of mayonnaise, and 1/2 Tbsp of dried parsley flakes. Mix thoroughly until well combined. For a touch of sweetness, stir in 1 Tbsp of honey. Feel free to adjust the amount of honey according to your preference.

Step 5

Step 6

Your garlic sauce and cream cheese filling are now ready. Let’s get ready to fill and coat the bread!

Step 6

Step 7

Cutting the Milk Bread: Carefully make deep cross-shaped cuts on the top of each milk bread roll. Depending on the size of the bread, you can cut it into 6 or 4 sections. Be gentle to avoid crumbling the bread.

Step 7

Step 8

Filling with Cream Cheese: Gently open the cuts you made in the bread and generously spoon the prepared cream cheese filling into each section. Make sure to fill the gaps well for maximum deliciousness.

Step 8

Step 9

Coating with Garlic Sauce: Dip the cream cheese-filled milk bread into the garlic butter sauce, ensuring all sides are evenly coated. You can also brush the sauce on if preferred, but dipping ensures a good amount of flavor.

Step 9

Step 10

Arranging on Baking Pan: Place the coated milk bread rolls onto a baking pan, leaving a little space between each one. This prevents them from sticking together and ensures even baking.

Step 10

Step 11

Baking: Place the pan in your preheated oven or air fryer. Make sure the bread pieces are not overlapping. I baked mine in a multi-oven at 160°C (320°F) for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on the bread and adjust the time and temperature as needed based on its color.

Step 11

Step 12

Beautifully Baked Six-Section Garlic Bread: Your golden-brown, perfectly baked six-section garlic bread is ready! The tempting golden hue is sure to whet your appetite.

Step 12

Step 13

A Symphony of Flavors: The combination of the rich garlic butter sauce and the creamy cream cheese filling is absolutely divine. The garlic flavor is just right, balanced by a pleasant sweetness, and the bread remains incredibly moist and soft. Even when using store-bought milk bread, this recipe delivers a homemade taste and is conveniently made in an air fryer. It’s a simple yet incredibly delicious treat that’s sure to be a hit!
