Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Let’s make a super simple blueberry syrup in the microwave! In a microwave-safe glass bowl, combine 70g of frozen blueberries, 25g of granulated sugar, and 5g of lemon juice. Stir them together well. Microwave on high for about 1 minute 30 seconds to 2 minutes. Once it’s done, let it cool slightly. Your delicious blueberry syrup is ready! Gently mash any whole blueberries with a spoon.
Step 2
Pour 40ml of the freshly made blueberry syrup into your serving glass. The syrup will create a beautiful purple base at the bottom.
Step 3
Fill the glass generously with ice cubes, about two-thirds full. The ice will keep your drink refreshingly cold and prevent it from diluting too quickly.
Step 4
Slowly pour 100ml of chilled sparkling water over the ice. The fizz and coolness of the sparkling water will combine with the syrup to form the refreshing liquid base.
Step 5
In a separate container, mix 50ml of milk and 50ml of heavy cream in a 1:1 ratio. Gently pour this cream mixture over the sparkling water. It will create a lovely, creamy layer floating on top.
Step 6
Now for the sweet finale! Add one generous scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of the cream layer. As it melts, it will add even more deliciousness to your drink.
Step 7
Finally, garnish with a few fresh mint leaves for a beautiful presentation. Your gorgeous and refreshing ‘Blueberry Cream Soda’ is complete! Enjoy!
