Sweet and Juicy! Summer Delight, Easy Tomato Cheese Bake Recipe / Utilizing Cheddar Cheese from Your Fridge
This is a super simple snack recipe made with ripe, in-season tomatoes and cheese commonly found in your home. The fantastic combination of bursting tomatoes, stretchy cheese, and sweet condensed milk creates a delicious summer treat that everyone, young and old, will love. It’s perfect as a snack for kids or an accompaniment to beer!
Ingredients- 2 ripe tomatoes
- 6 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
- Sweet condensed milk, to taste
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, wash the 2 ripe tomatoes thoroughly and carefully remove the stems. Then, slice them into rounds about 0.5 cm thick, preserving their shape. Handle them gently to prevent the fresh tomato juices from escaping.
Step 2
Cut each of the 6 prepared cheese slices in half diagonally to form triangles. This shape looks appealing when placed on the tomatoes and spreads nicely as it melts. You can adjust the size based on the tomatoes you are using.
Step 3
Arrange the tomato slices attractively on a serving plate. Then, place the triangular cheese pieces one by one in between the tomato slices. You can overlap them slightly so the cheese melts and envelops the tomatoes.
Step 4
Finally, generously drizzle sweet condensed milk over the cheese according to your preference. The sweetness of the condensed milk enhances the tanginess of the tomatoes and the richness of the cheese, perfectly balancing the flavors. Your delicious Tomato Cheese Bake is now ready to be enjoyed!
