Crispy Air Fryer Garlic Bread
Homemade Crispy Garlic Bread Made Super Easy with an Air Fryer
Craving a snack on a weekend? I decided to make some super simple garlic bread using two slices of bread I found in the freezer. It requires minimal ingredients and is incredibly easy to make with just an air fryer. It’s my youngest child’s favorite snack! So, let’s make some crispy, garlicky bread!
Ingredients- 2 slices of bread
- 2 Tbsp minced garlic
- 3 Tbsp butter (softened at room temperature)
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- Parsley flakes (dried parsley) for garnish
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, let’s prepare the garlic butter sauce, the star of our garlic bread. In a bowl, combine 3 tablespoons of softened butter, 2 tablespoons of minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of sugar. Whisk or stir them together with a spoon or spatula until smooth and well combined, ensuring no lumps remain. The sugar will dissolve, adding a pleasant sweetness to the flavor profile.
Step 2
Now, it’s time to spread the delicious garlic butter sauce onto the bread. Take your bread slices and, using a spoon or a brush, evenly coat one side (the top side) of each slice with the prepared garlic butter mixture. Make sure to spread it generously all the way to the edges for maximum flavor in every bite.
Step 3
We’ll be using a preheated air fryer to bake our garlic bread to perfection. Carefully place the bread slices, sauce-side up, into the air fryer basket. Set the temperature to 160°C (320°F) and cook for approximately 10 minutes. You’ll see the bread turn golden brown and the garlic butter will melt, infusing it with wonderful aroma and taste. Keep an eye on it during cooking to prevent burning.
Step 4
Once the garlic bread is beautifully golden and cooked through, carefully remove it from the air fryer. Be cautious as it will be hot. Transfer it to a cutting board or plate and let it cool slightly before slicing. For easy eating and to enjoy the crispy exterior and soft interior, it’s best to cut each slice into three or four bite-sized pieces.
Step 5
Finally, let’s add a touch of freshness and visual appeal. Sprinkle dried parsley flakes over the sliced garlic bread. You can gently crush the flakes between your fingers before sprinkling for better distribution. This final touch enhances both the aroma and the presentation, making your homemade garlic bread look and taste even more delightful. Enjoy your crispy, flavorful garlic bread!
