First, prepare all your ingredients for the panini. Fresh ingredients are the foundation for a delicious panini.

Carefully slice the ciabatta bread in half horizontally. Make sure not to cut all the way through the crust on one side, leaving it attached like a hinge. This will help prevent the fillings from falling out.

Lightly drizzle balsamic glaze sauce onto the inner sides of the bread. This tangy and sweet glaze will enhance the flavors of the ham and cheese, adding depth to your panini. Use it sparingly to avoid making it too salty.
