Main Ingredients- 1 bowl of dried rice shrimp (adjust quantity based on size)
Seasoning- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide
- 1 Tbsp ginger, plum syrup, or cooking wine
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- A pinch of sesame seeds
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide
- 1 Tbsp ginger, plum syrup, or cooking wine
- 1 Tbsp sesame oil
- A pinch of sesame seeds
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, place the dried rice shrimp in a frying pan. Before turning on the heat, drizzle about 1 Tbsp of soy sauce and enough canola oil (or cooking oil) to lightly coat the shrimp. This step helps prevent the shrimp from sticking to the pan and ensures the seasoning is absorbed evenly.
Step 2
Now, before the heat is on, use a spatula or spoon to quickly and thoroughly mix the rice shrimp and seasoning. It’s important to ensure all the shrimp are coated with the seasoning.
Step 3
Turn the frying pan to low heat and begin stir-frying the rice shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes, being careful not to burn them. Then, add 1 Tbsp of oligosaccharide to add sweetness and a glossy finish. After adding the oligosaccharide, stir-fry a bit more quickly to prevent burning and achieve a delicious caramelization.
Step 4
Finally, just before turning off the heat, drizzle in 1 Tbsp of sesame oil for a nutty aroma and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Give it a quick stir (whirly~ mix and swiftly~ toss) and your savory and delicious fried rice shrimp is complete! Serve immediately or let it cool before storing.
