  • Ingredient Category : Processed foods
  • Occasion : Bar food
  • Cooking : Stir-fry
  • Servings : 1 serving
  • Cooking Time : Within 15 minutes
  • Difficulty : Beginner

Ingredients

  • Canned corn, drained 250g
  • Mozzarella cheese 80g
  • Mayonnaise 2.5 Tbsp
  • Bacon, chopped 80g
  • Unsalted butter 1.5 Tbsp
  • Dried parsley, for garnish (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

Melt 1.5 Tbsp of unsalted butter in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Keep the heat gentle to prevent the butter from burning.

Step 1

Step 2

Add the chopped bacon (80g) to the pan and sauté until it becomes golden brown and slightly crispy. Cooking the bacon until it renders its fat will add a richer flavor.

Step 2

Step 3

Once the bacon is nicely browned, add the drained canned corn (250g) to the pan. Stir-fry together with the bacon for about 1-2 minutes, allowing the corn to get lightly coated in the buttery bacon fat. This step enhances the corn’s natural sweetness and adds a lovely sheen.

Step 3

Step 4

Add 2.5 Tbsp of mayonnaise to the corn and bacon mixture. Stir well to combine everything evenly, ensuring no clumps of mayonnaise remain. The heat will help meld the flavors beautifully.

Step 4

Step 5

Now for the cheesy goodness! Sprinkle 80g of mozzarella cheese evenly over the corn mixture. Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and let it cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is completely melted and gooey. Get ready for that satisfying cheese pull!

Step 5

Step 6

Once the mozzarella cheese is perfectly melted and stretchy, carefully transfer the corn cheese to a serving plate. Garnish with a sprinkle of dried parsley for a touch of color and freshness. Serve immediately while it’s warm and irresistibly gooey!

Step 6
