How to Make a Steak Toast Pizza That Rivals Your Favorite Pizzeria
Today, I’ve made a fantastic Steak Toast Pizza that truly rivals any pizzeria! I used tender sirloin for this recipe, adding a touch of indulgence. (Pats self on the back). If you’ve been following my blog, you know I’ve shared many variations of toast pizzas. This Steak Toast Pizza is absolutely delicious, and I’m excited to share it with you. My mother, who is usually quite discerning, loved it. While she always says my cooking is delicious, her genuine enjoyment as she ate suggested this one was a real winner. So, let’s get straight to making this incredible Steak Toast Pizza right in your own kitchen!
Ingredients- 2 slices of bread
- 100g sirloin steak
- 100g mozzarella cheese
- 50g sweet corn
- 1/3 bell pepper
- 10 slices black olives
- 4 cherry tomatoes
- 4 Tbsp tomato sauce
- 4 Tbsp steak sauce
- 2 Tbsp cooking oil
- 2 pinches dried parsley
- 2 pinches salt
- 1 pinch black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
First, prepare the cherry tomatoes by removing their stems and slicing them into approximately 0.5cm thick rounds. Slicing them to this thickness will ensure a pleasant bite.
Step 2
Next, finely chop the bell pepper into pieces about 0.3cm thick. Removing the seeds before chopping will result in a cleaner flavor.
Step 3
Cut the sirloin steak into bite-sized pieces, ensuring they are easy to manage. Pieces that are too large might be difficult to cook through, while pieces that are too small might lack a satisfying texture.
Step 4
In a bowl, combine the cut sirloin steak with 2 pinches of salt and 1 pinch of black pepper. Gently mix with your hands to marinate the meat evenly. Proper marination will enhance the overall flavor.
Step 5
Heat 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in a preheated pan over medium heat. Add the marinated sirloin steak and stir-fry. It’s important to break up the meat as it cooks to prevent it from clumping together.
Step 6
Once the sirloin steak is nicely browned and cooked through, add 2 tablespoons of steak sauce. Stir-fry everything together until the sauce coats the meat beautifully, creating a rich, glossy finish.
Step 7
Now, let’s assemble the pizza! Take the two slices of bread and spread tomato sauce evenly over each. Sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese, followed by the cooked steak, sliced cherry tomatoes, black olives, bell pepper, and finally sweet corn. Finish with a sprinkle of dried parsley for a beautiful presentation.
Step 8
Carefully place the assembled toast pizzas onto an air fryer tray or oven-safe pan. Ensure they are positioned so they won’t stick to the bottom.
Step 9
Place the pan in a preheated air fryer and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 10 minutes. Cook until the cheese is melted and golden brown, and the toppings are heated through. Cooking times may vary slightly depending on your air fryer model.
Step 10
After 10 minutes, carefully remove the perfectly baked Steak Toast Pizza from the air fryer. It’s ready to be enjoyed! This homemade pizza is best served warm. Enjoy your delicious creation!
