Ingredients

  • 25g fresh spinach
  • 50g ripe banana
  • 50-70ml milk (adjust based on baby’s age/preference)
  • 15g oatmeal
  • 1 slice low-sodium baby cheese

Cooking Instructions

First, wash the fresh spinach thoroughly several times. Gently pat dry the washed spinach. Place it in a microwave-safe bowl, add about 1-2 tablespoons of water, cover with a lid or plastic wrap, and microwave for about 1 minute to blanch it until tender. This process softens the spinach fibers, making it much easier for the baby to digest.

Prepare 50g of ripe banana, which is sweet and soft. Peel the banana and cut it into appropriate pieces.

Add the blanched spinach (squeeze out excess water), the prepared banana, and 50-70ml of milk to a blender. Adjust the amount of milk according to your baby’s preferred consistency. Blend until all ingredients are smoothly pureed.

Have 15g of oatmeal ready, which is nutty and nutritious. While oatmeal can be pre-soaked in water or milk, in this recipe, we’ll cook it with the other ingredients.

Pour the pureed spinach and banana mixture into a baby-safe pot or a steaming container for baby food. If using a steamer, prepare it accordingly.
