  • 1 Tbsp mentsuyu (or more soy sauce if unavailable)
  • 1 Tbsp gochugaru (Korean chili flakes)
  • 1 Tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 Tbsp minced green onion
  • 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide (adjust sweetness to taste)
  • 2 tsp vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds

Begin by preparing the rice, the foundation of your delicious cooker meal. Place 350ml of short-grain rice in a bowl and rinse gently under running water until the water runs clear. Drain the rice well and let it soak in water for about 30 minutes. This soaking step ensures the rice will be fluffy and perfectly cooked.

Next, let’s season the minced beef to enhance its flavor and eliminate any gamey taste. In a separate bowl, combine 150g of minced beef with 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp minced garlic, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix well with your hands, ensuring the seasoning is evenly distributed. Let it marinate for a few minutes.

Be sure to monitor to prevent the water from boiling over.

Finally, add 1 Tbsp soy sauce and 1 Tbsp oligosaccharide to the pan, stir well to coat everything, and cook for another minute until glossy. Remove from heat.
