Main Ingredients

  • Frozen dumplings, about 150g (approx. 4-5 pieces)
  • 1 bowl of warm rice (about 200g)
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the frozen dumplings for your bibimbap. Take about 150g of frozen dumplings and place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave them for about 1-2 minutes until heated through. (Adjust the cooking time based on your dumpling type and microwave specifications.)

Step 1

Step 2

On top of the warmed dumplings, add a generous serving of 1 bowl of rice (about 200g). Then, add 1 tablespoon of gochujang, the key to its spicy and sweet flavor, artfully on top.

Step 2

Step 3

Next, add 1 tablespoon of ketchup for a touch of tangy sweetness. Now, gently mix the rice and dumplings with a spatula or spoon until the gochujang and ketchup are well combined. It’s important to mix everything together without mashing the dumplings too much.

Step 3

Step 4

Place 2 slices of cheddar cheese on top of the mixed rice to add a creamy, cheesy element. Microwave for about 1 minute more, or until the cheese is slightly melted. The melted cheese will enhance the overall flavor and texture.

Step 4

Step 5

While the cheese is melting, sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds over the bibimbap for a nutty aroma and satisfying crunch. The texture and fragrance of the sesame seeds will elevate the dish.

Step 5

Step 6

Finally, drizzle 1 tablespoon of sesame oil all around to complete the dish. The nutty aroma of the sesame oil will make the bibimbap even more appealing. Now, enjoy your delicious frozen dumpling bibimbap!
