  • 1 block firm tofu (approx. 300-400g)
  • 1 ripe tomato

First, thoroughly drain the tofu. Patting the surface with paper towels will help the tofu become crispier when cooked. Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces (e.g., cubes of about 2-3 cm).

Arrange the cut tofu pieces attractively in the air fryer basket. If you don’t have an air fryer, you can lightly oil a pan and pan-fry the tofu over medium heat until golden brown. If using a pan, make sure to flip the tofu occasionally to prevent sticking.

Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F) and place the tofu inside. Cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, flip the tofu pieces and continue to cook for another 7 minutes at 180°C (350°F). This will result in tofu that is slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Keep an eye on the tofu during cooking to prevent burning.

Wash the fresh tomato thoroughly and cut it into bite-sized pieces (e.g., about 1-2 cm chunks). Be careful not to press too hard when cutting the tomato to avoid releasing too much juice.
