Savory and Sweet Sauce

  • Soy sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Honey or corn syrup 1 Tbsp
  • Minced garlic 1 Tbsp
  • Black pepper, a pinch

Cooking Instructions

First, prepare the pork neck. Preheat your air fryer to 180°C (350°F). Place the pork neck inside and cook for 15 minutes. Then, flip it over and cook for another 10 minutes to ensure it’s thoroughly cooked through. This method keeps the meat juicy inside while achieving a beautiful golden-brown sear on the outside.

While the pork is cooking, let’s make the delicious sauce! In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey (or corn syrup), 1 tablespoon of minced garlic, and a pinch of black pepper. Mix everything well until you have a perfectly balanced sweet and savory sauce.

Heat a frying pan and gently bring the prepared sauce to a simmer. Once the sauce is bubbling, add the perfectly cooked pork neck from the air fryer. Stir-fry quickly to coat the pork evenly with the sauce. The key is to get the sauce to cling to the meat, giving it a glossy finish.
