Sweet & Tangy Homemade Apple Mango Yogurt Smoothie

We bought some apple mangoes from the supermarket and decided to make a yogurt smoothie using Vitacoco Peach & Mango juice that we had at home! This recipe combines the tropical sweetness of apple mangoes with the refreshing taste of Vitacoco, creating a delightful and healthy drink perfect for any time of day.

Main Ingredients

  • 1/2 ripe apple mango
  • 1 container plain yogurt (80g)
  • 200ml Vitacoco Peach & Mango juice
  • Cereal for topping (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash the apple mango thoroughly. Cut it in half, remove the pit, and prepare the flesh. Apple mangoes can be a bit tricky to cut, so be careful with your knife. You can scoop out the flesh with a spoon or slice it off the pit. (Tip: If the mango is slightly firm, peeling and then slicing can make it easier.)

Step 1

Step 2

Combine the prepared apple mango flesh, plain yogurt, and Vitacoco Peach & Mango juice in a blender. If you like your smoothie extra cold and thick, add ice cubes at this stage and blend. If you don’t have Vitacoco Peach & Mango juice, you can substitute it with plain yogurt mixed with water. If the smoothie isn’t sweet enough for your liking, add a touch of honey or syrup to adjust the sweetness.

Step 2

Step 3

Blend all the ingredients until smooth. We initially blended without ice but decided to add a few cubes because it was a warm day and we wanted it extra refreshing. This helps keep the smoothie chilled longer. The finished smoothie will have a beautiful, smooth, pastel yellow hue!

Step 3

Step 4

Finally, sprinkle some crunchy brown rice cereal on top of the smoothie as a topping. The nutty flavor and satisfying crunch of the cereal add a wonderful textural contrast to the smooth drink. (Tip: You can also add nuts or granola for extra texture and flavor.)
