Main Ingredients- 15 pcs Frozen Cocktail Shrimp
- 60g Cooked Somyeon (Korean thin wheat noodles)
- 3 Tbsp Cornstarch
- Vegetable Oil, for frying
- 1 pack Baby Greens
Special Tartar Sauce- 2 Tbsp Finely Chopped Onion
- 4 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp Vinegar
- 0.5 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 0.5 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 0.5 Tbsp Mustard
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Pinch of Black Pepper
- 2 Tbsp Finely Chopped Onion
- 4 Tbsp Mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp Vinegar
- 0.5 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- 0.5 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 0.5 Tbsp Mustard
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- Pinch of Black Pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1
Begin by preparing all the ingredients for the dish. Thaw the frozen shrimp, cook the somyeon noodles, and measure out the ingredients for the tartar sauce.

The pre-cleaned frozen cocktail shrimp do not require further preparation. Soak them in cold water for about 5 minutes to thaw, then rinse them 2-3 times under running water and pat dry. Ensure they are clean and ready.
Step 3
Place the thawed shrimp in a bowl and add 3 tablespoons of cornstarch. Toss gently to coat each shrimp evenly with a layer of starch. This coating will ensure a wonderfully crispy texture when fried.
Step 4
Take a portion of the cooked somyeon noodles and wrap them around the body of each shrimp, coiling them tightly. Wrapping the noodles securely will help maintain a beautiful shape during frying.

Heat a generous amount of vegetable oil in a pot to approximately 170°C (340°F). Carefully place the shrimp and noodle rolls into the hot oil, one by one. Fry until they turn a beautiful golden-brown and become crispy. Your delicious Shrimp & Noodle Rolls are now ready!

In a bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of finely chopped onion, 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 0.5 tablespoon of lemon juice, 0.5 tablespoon of brown sugar, 0.5 tablespoon of mustard, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, and a pinch of black pepper. Whisk everything together until well combined. You’ll have a creamy and flavorful tartar sauce.
