Today, I made fried rice using CJ’s ‘The Healthier Pork Neck Steak.’ What’s the best dish for using up leftover ingredients in the fridge? Fried rice, of course! Let’s make a simple yet incredibly delicious fried rice!

Recipe Info

  • Category : Rice / Porridge / Rice cake
  • Ingredient Category : Processed foods
  • Occasion : Everyday
  • Cooking : Stir-fry
  • Servings : 2 servings
  • Cooking Time : Within 30 minutes
  • Difficulty : Beginner

Ingredients

  • 1 CJ ‘The Healthier Pork Neck Steak’
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1/4 Carrot
  • 1/3 Green Onion
  • 2 bowls Cooked Rice
  • 1 cube Chicken Stock (or 1/2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce)
  • 1 Tbsp Butter

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, prepare the vegetables that will add flavor to your fried rice. Wash the green onion, carrot, and onion thoroughly, peel them, and finely mince them so they blend well into the fried rice. Using up any leftover vegetables from your fridge is a great way to make it even more economical and delicious.

Step 1

Step 2

CJ’s ‘The Healthier Pork Neck Steak’ is the main ingredient that will add rich juices and savory flavor to your fried rice. Cut the pork neck steak into small, bite-sized pieces. It’s a good idea to cut them small enough for children to eat easily.

Step 2

Step 3

Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a heated pan. Add the minced vegetables and the cut pork neck steak all at once and stir-fry them together. The butter will further enhance the flavors of the vegetables and steak. Stir-fry over medium heat, ensuring it doesn’t burn.

Step 3

Step 4

Once the vegetables and steak are sufficiently cooked, add 2 bowls of warm cooked rice and stir-fry everything together until well combined. To prevent the rice from clumping, gently break it apart with your spatula as you stir-fry. This will help create fluffy fried rice.

Step 4

Step 5

Finally, add 1 cube of chicken stock to complete the savory flavor of the fried rice. If you don’t have chicken stock, you can substitute it with 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce. (Tip: Using both chicken stock and oyster sauce can make it too salty, so we recommend adjusting the amount or using only one.) Stir-fry once more to ensure all ingredients are well mixed. Your delicious pork neck steak fried rice is ready!
