  • Aromatic garlic 12g (approx. 3-4 cloves)
  • Extra virgin olive oil 130ml
  • Flavorful Parmesan cheese 40g (grated)
  • Premium salt 2g (approx. 1/4 tsp)

First, thoroughly wash the glass jar or container you’ll use to store the basil pesto. Sterilize it by boiling in water or wipe it dry with a clean cloth, ensuring it’s completely dry. This step helps keep your pesto fresher for longer.

Wash the fresh basil leaves and pat them dry. Accurately weigh out 60g of basil leaves and place them into a blender or food processor.

Toast the 35g of walnuts in a dry pan over low heat without any oil. The key is to toast them until their moisture evaporates and they release a nutty aroma. Let the toasted walnuts cool slightly before adding them to the blender. This process enhances their flavor.

Periodically stop the blender and scrape down the sides with a spatula to ensure even mixing. Continue blending until you achieve your desired consistency.
