How to Enjoy Peaches Deliciously: Peach Yogurt Granola Recipe Inspired by ‘I Live Alone’

Sweet & Creamy Peach Yogurt Granola Delight

Inspired by the way Park Na-rae and Hwasa enjoyed peaches on the TV show ‘I Live Alone,’ I decided to try this recipe with ingredients I already had at home. It turned out incredibly delicious! Perfect as a snack, and it’s super easy to make. You’ll love this delightful peach dessert!

Ingredients

  • 3 fresh peaches (Hwangdo variety recommended for sweetness)
  • Plain yogurt or your preferred yogurt
  • Honey, for drizzling (adjust to taste)
  • Granola (or your favorite cereal)

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, thoroughly wash the fresh peaches under running water. Using the Hwangdo variety, which is generally sweeter and softer, will enhance the flavor of your peach yogurt granola. Make sure they are clean and ready.

Step 1

Step 2

Carefully cut off the bottom of each peach to create a flat base. Then, using a spoon, gently scoop out the pit. Be cautious not to pierce through the peach flesh or create large holes, as this will help maintain the shape for filling with yogurt.

Step 2

Step 3

Fill the hollowed-out center of each peach with your chosen yogurt. Drizzle about 3 to 5 swirls of honey over the yogurt to add a touch of sweetness and visual appeal. It looks so cute and pretty!

Step 3

Step 4

Prepare your serving plates. Spread a layer of granola or your favorite crunchy cereal on the bottom of each plate. Carefully place the yogurt-filled peach on top of the granola. Now, place the prepared peaches in the freezer for about 30 minutes. This brief chilling will give the dessert a delightful, refreshing texture.

Step 4

Step 5

Voila! Here is the peach yogurt granola straight from the freezer. When sliced in half, you can see that the yogurt has slightly frozen, holding its shape beautifully without becoming too hard. If you prefer a softer texture, you can skip the freezing step and enjoy it immediately – it’s delicious either way!

Step 5

Step 6

Doesn’t it look wonderfully appealing? If you desire an extra touch of sweetness, I highly recommend adding a little more honey just before serving. The combination of fragrant peach, tangy yogurt, and crunchy granola is truly delightful. Make this easy yet impressive dessert at home to share with loved ones. Highly recommended!
