  • Difficulty : Anyone

Essential Ingredients

  • 200g fresh cabbage (approx. 1/4 head)
  • 1/2 sweet onion
  • 1/2 bell pepper (any color)
  • 2 fresh eggs
  • 100g flavorful tomato meat sauce
  • 60g mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese

Cooking Instructions

Step 1

First, wash the cabbage thoroughly, pat it dry, and then thinly shred it. Shredding it as thinly as possible will result in a softer texture and ensure it cooks evenly.

Step 1

Step 2

Peel the onion and thinly slice it into shreds as well. The sweetness of the onion will enhance the pizza’s flavor profile.

Step 2

Step 3

Remove the seeds from the colorful bell pepper and thinly slice it into shreds. This adds visual appeal and boosts the nutritional content.

Step 3

Step 4

In a large bowl, crack the 2 fresh eggs and whisk them lightly until slightly frothy. Have this ready.

Step 4

Step 5

Add all the shredded cabbage to the whisked eggs in the bowl. Gently toss and mix until the cabbage is evenly coated with the egg mixture. The egg will help bind the cabbage together.

Step 5

Step 6

Heat a non-stick pan over medium-low heat. Pour the egg-coated cabbage mixture into the pan and gently spread it out with a spatula. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the cabbage wilts and the bottom side turns lightly golden brown. Avoid using high heat to prevent burning.

Step 6

Step 7

Once the cabbage is cooked on one side, carefully flip it over using a spatula to cook the other side. Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes, being careful to prevent it from sticking to the pan.

Step 7

Step 8

When the cabbage is nicely golden brown on both sides, spread the tomato meat sauce thinly over one half of the cooked cabbage base. Be mindful not to use too much sauce, as it can make the pizza soggy.

Step 8

Step 9

Arrange the shredded onion and bell pepper attractively over the tomato sauce. Then, generously sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese on top. More cheese makes it even more delicious!

Step 9

Step 10

Cover the pan with a lid and continue to cook over very low heat until the cheese is completely melted and bubbly, with a lightly golden finish. This will take approximately 5-7 minutes. Patience will reward you with a wonderfully homemade pizza!
